The Ramires brand started in the Continente, in the village of Guia in Albufeira, in 1964. Its founder, José Carlos Ramires, brought to Guia a recipe from the Overseas - barbecue chicken with piri-piri.
In Ponta Delgada, Ramires presents the original flavor of Guia Chicken, this being its great specialty - chicken well seasoned and grilled on the barbecue, accompanied by potato chips and lettuce and tomato salad.
