Boca do Inferno
Viewpoint
Located at about 1000 meters of altitude, the Miradouro da Boca do Inferno has one of the most amazing landscapes of the island of São Miguel.
A five or ten minute walk takes you to this stunning viewpoint and in every corner along the way you can enjoy the beautiful landscapes. This walk is not too difficult and can be an activity for the whole family. The view over the Sete Cidades is breath taking and therefore, this is a place not to be missed.
This is a very touristy place, so plan your visit taking that into account and get ready to share this little view with dozens of other people. However do not be put off by the tourists as this is definitely a place not to be missed.
