Salto do Prego

The Salto do Prego is one of the many beautiful waterfalls that São Miguel has to offer.

For the more adventurous traveller, São Miguel offers a beautiful trail to the Salto do Prego Waterfall. The road is in excellent conditions and very well marked however there are several areas with different elevations along the several kilometres covered. This makes this trail perfect for an experienced hiker, but an inexperienced one may have some difficulty getting the walk completed comfortably.
